At present, the global market is unpredictable. Faced with the realistic dilemma of peak traffic, many cross-border e-commerce companies actively explore ways to break the situation.

Multinational market layout
From the rapid expansion in the past to the intensive cultivation today, the cross-border e-commerce enterprises in China have made great strides in going out to sea. The industry expects that in the next 5 to 10 years, cross-border e-commerce will share the world equally with traditional foreign trade and become an important direction for the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade enterprises in China.
In recent years, China’s trade volume with the United States, Germany, Britain and other developed countries and regions has maintained steady growth, but due to market competition, trade protectionism and other factors, market development is becoming more and more difficult.
Emerging markets such as Indonesia, Brazil and Thailand have continued to perform well and become the “new blue ocean” for cross-border e-commerce. At the same time, the Middle East, Russia and even Africa have also become testing markets for some sellers. The changes in the market have made sellers and platforms deeply aware of the risks of single betting on European and American markets and the necessity of regional combination layout. It has become the consensus of sellers to actively explore the path of sustainable development through multinational market layout.

Multi-platform operation
In the early days of development, many cross-border e-commerce sellers only focused on a single platform or market. However, this practice of “putting all eggs in one basket” has great risks and obvious disadvantages. At that time, some head sales were devastated by the “title tide” incident.
In order to achieve sustainable and healthy development, many enterprises break the mindset and choose multi-platform operation. According to the sampling survey, about 85.47% of enterprises operate multiple platforms at the same time, and about 52.42% of enterprises simultaneously set up independent stations and peace shops. Generally speaking, multi-platform operation has the following advantages: reducing the risk of unsalable goods, reducing the cost of inventory and logistics, balancing the pressure of supply chain and adjusting business strategy.
