The Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference at 15: 00 on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 to introduce relevant information and answer media questions.

In November, the growth rate of China’s goods trade reached 4.1%, which has maintained a year-on-year growth for 10 consecutive months. How to look at the next development trend of China’s foreign trade and what measures will be taken to promote the stable growth of foreign trade?
Since the beginning of this year, in the face of the complicated and severe external environment, China’s foreign trade has bucked the trend, achieved steady growth in quantity and quality, and demonstrated abundant vitality with steady growth. In the first 11 months, China’s total import and export value of goods was 41.21 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%.
At present, the uncertain and unstable factors in the global economic and trade field have increased significantly, and the production and supply chain has been profoundly adjusted, which is a common challenge faced by all countries, including China. We believe that in the future, China’s foreign trade can overcome difficulties and inject a steady force into global economic and trade development.
In the next step, we will work with all localities and relevant departments to implement various policies to stabilize foreign trade, actively promote market diversification, and strengthen service guarantee for enterprises to open up markets; Expand intermediate trade and green trade, and promote the development of trade innovation; Promote the balanced development of import and export, and continue to build the brand of “exporting to China”; Enhance the function of the trade promotion platform, support the development of new formats and new models such as cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehouses, and promote the quality and efficiency of foreign trade.
