At present, the international economic and trade environment is complex and changeable, and challenges and uncertainties are intertwined, which has brought many tests to foreign trade enterprises in China. However, just as the new buds are born in the sun without fear of wind and rain, the vast number of foreign trade enterprises are actively exploring diversified market layouts with a tough attitude, looking for new machines in the changing situation, making breakthroughs in challenges, marching forward with high morale, and writing a chapter of struggle of “born upward”.
Nowadays, the road of diversified development of foreign trade enterprises in China is getting wider and wider and smoother. Up to now, China has proudly become a major trading partner of more than 150 countries and regions, especially with countries that have jointly built the “Belt and Road”, and its proportion in China’s foreign trade import and export has exceeded 50% for the first time; At the same time, China has signed 23 free trade agreements with 30 countries and regions, and the proportion of imports and exports to free trade partners has steadily increased to 34%, demonstrating the broad pattern and strong momentum of China’s foreign trade open cooperation.
In order to fully escort the steady progress of foreign trade, a series of policies to promote the steady growth of foreign trade, such as spring breeze and rain, have injected strong momentum into foreign trade enterprises. Local governments also responded quickly, issuing detailed implementation rules and formulating supporting measures, forming a good situation of up-and-down linkage and concerted efforts, aiming at making the road of diversified development of foreign trade enterprises more stable and farther.
In terms of specific actions, we have implemented three strategies: First, the international market development action, through the exhibition platform to help enterprises cross-border sea, relying on overseas resources to achieve group development, and jointly explore the new blue ocean of the international market; Second, state-owned enterprises take the lead, with the help of the strong strength and rich experience of “going out” enterprises, leading more enterprises to borrow ships to go out to sea, and at the same time strengthening the export competitiveness of independent brands, so that China brands can shine on the international stage; Third, the cross-border e-commerce expansion action, accelerate the vigorous development of cross-border e-commerce business, vigorously cultivate talents in new foreign trade formats such as cross-border e-commerce, and inject fresh blood into foreign trade transformation and upgrading.
We firmly believe that with the joint efforts of the government, enterprises and all walks of life, China’s foreign trade will maintain a steady operation, and the vast number of foreign trade enterprises will continue to open up new space and write a more brilliant chapter in the stormy weather.
